| 4/ More clout for Olympic bid, with the deployment of one of the Worlds top coaches and experienced promoters, to show our sport, is active in lifting the standard of Coaches and Skaters to open up the South east Asian area in particular, by creating more countries contesting Internationally.
4 b / Save the CIC / FIRS from investing large amounts of money to try & do something similar, in an area that has basically stagnated, badly in need of an urgent injection, to spark it into life, apart from the mighty Korea, who have their own very strong infrastructure.
4 c / When we talk world cup & Inline cup series, we operate one of speed skatings flagships in a very small section of the World, had I not been involved in introducing Russian, Estonian, Finnish & South American skaters etc. in recent years to the WIC, it would have lost its credibility a lot earlier, as seeing the WIC was not going to the World, we brought the World to it, to try & give it credibility. But with the much needed modifications not taking place, for 3 years, along with the current economic situation, the concept has been on decline the last 3 years and requires revitalization. We hope that our effort in this part of the world, will also help towards this process.
4 d / We feel there must be a greater effort & impact made in the high density population areas of the World, with time against us all, if we do not move, we must make the most of the current situation and act now in order to gain strength. |
