| 3/a In an Active participation for all approach.
3 b / There will be long races from the half Marathon Distance upwards for speed women and Speed men. Also a half marathon for recreation skaters, along with younger skaters.
3 c / At most races whenever possible a 500 meter sprint series ( Plus or Minus 100 meters ) will be held. This will reap Bonus reward points, as will sprint primes during the races. This will create more interest, while also helping the sprinters develop. This will be for speed section, men & Women only.
3 d / Due to the nature of a number of countries & availability of suitable courses, we will have flexible rules, but safety of the skaters will be of prime interest.
4 e / While iniatally China, Taiwan, Singapore & Hong Kong will be the main competition targets, we have already had enquires from Japan, India, Indonesia Malaysia, New Zealand and Australia wanting to be involved, this could happen, as early as, the October to December Window of the competition.
5 c / But our focus will also be to get other developing countries like Iran Involved, along with South east Asian countries like Malaya, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam etc, plus neighbouring Oceanic countries, like New Caledonia and Australia etc.
5 d / Its likely fees will be charged to venues wishing to host the events, but they will not be excessive, as our aim is promoting the standard and numbers to long term create a more fertile sporting environment for all, host countries will be expected to provide the courses and infrastucture, over seen by the Executive Consultant ( Bill Begg ) |
